Shakespeare’s play “As You Like It” and is a speech that compares men to actors
on-stage in a play. Consonance or the agreement/compatibility of two differing
ideas, opinions, or actions, can be found throughout the Seven Ages of Man. One
example is that everyone are mere characters and actors in a play.
