TRIGONOMETRY
==============================
» The trigonometric ratio of adjacent leg and hypotenuse of a right triangle.
[tex]\Large \blue{\bold{Answer:}} \: \: \LARGE \tt \green{C. \: Cosine}[/tex]
» Remembering the mnemonic form of trigonometric ratios (SOH-CAH-TOA), we can identify each ratios depending on what side is used.
- S=O/H - To find sine (sin), let the opposite side over the hypotenuse.
- C=A/H - To find cosine (cos), let the adjacent side over the hypothenuse.
- T=O/A - To find tangent (tan), let the opposite side over the adjacent side
» There are also the reciprocals of these ratios:
- Cosecant (csc) - Reciprocal of Sine
- Secant (sec) - Reciprocal of Cosine
- Cotangent (cot) - Reciprocal of Tangent
