ADVERB OF FREQUENCY
ADVERB is the collection of words or phrases that modify a verb or group of words to create additional meaning.
There are 6 Main Classifications of Adverbs according to their use:
- Adverb of Time
- Adverbs of Manner
- Adverbs of Frequency
- Adverbs of Place
- Adverbs of Degree
- Adverbs of Reason
The Adverb of Frequency defines how often or repeatedly an action happens.
These are the most commonly used phrases as an Adverb of Frequency; usually, always, normally, often, sometimes, rarely, and never.
Here are some examples of sentences that consist of Adverb of Frequency:
- Every day I go to the park and meet my friends.
- Me and my sister meet in the school playground every day while waiting for our school bus.
- Since I move to Manila for my studies, I rarely get a chance to eat fresh and delightful fish.
- She is on a diet for the upcoming competition, it is very seldom for her to eat any kind of meat including fish.
- Since I join the cheering competition, I almost never got a chance to play my guitar again.
- Every day I make sure to practice playing my guitar so that I will get more familiar with it.
