The perimeter of a rectangle is 240 cm. The length is twice the width. Find the dimensions.

P = 240 = 2l + 2w
where, l=2w

Solution:
2l + 2w = 240
2(2w) +2w=240
6w=240
w=40

therefore the length is 80 and the width is 40
