Set A is a subset of set B if all of the elements (if any) of set A are cointained in set B. This is written A ⊂ B. Note: The empty set is a subset of every set.
A subset is like a set within a set. For instance, A={J,A,M,I,C,H}. We can say that set B={J,A,M} is a subset of set A because all the elements of set B can be found in set A.
