how do the lengths of how do the lengths of the tapes compare

Sagot :

Answer:

title of activity "doing detective work"

This activity uses the data of oil drops left by the car down the road to determine if the driver is accelerating or decelereting or moving at a constant speed. The distance between the first dot and the second dot is assumed per second and you are going to cut the tapes per second and show it in a graph. When the distance increases in the successive dots it means it is accelerating, if the distance of the successive dots is decresing it means it is decelerating.

Acceleration is the change in speed with respect to time. The difference in length between two successive tapes provides the object's acceleration or its change in speed or velocity for a time interval of 1 second. The longer the type the higher the acceleration and the shorter the tape the shorter the acceleration.

The illustration given in this activity shows an increasing distance of successive oil drops. The result showed an increasing in the length of tapes per second showing that the driver accelerates in the incident thereby the driver is not telling the truth.
