One afternoon, Manilo's class adviser gave him an envelope for his parents. He immedias
went home and handed the envelope to his mother. Mother Susan opened and read
letter. The letter informed her of Manilo's chance to enjoy a scholarship next school year As
one of the prestigious universities in the country. "At last the fruits of a long and arduo
labor since you were young are now being harvested. Now you are recognized and award.
with this scholarship,” his mother announced with joy.

3. Why did Mother Susan feel happy that day is that because his son, Manilo, got a scholarship in the most prestigious university in the country. His mother felt really joy as she read the letter. She might realize that all the hardwork she's done, her son Manilo exchanged it with an excellent work. And i think all mothers would be really happy if their child got a scholarship and thinking that their future would be secured.
