Activity 3 Demonstrating Air Movement
Materials Needed: 1 empty shoe box, 2 chimneys, 1 candle,
1 mosquito coil, match or lighter
Procedure:
1. Get an empty shoe box. Make two holes some distance apart
on top of the box. Label them as A and B.
2. Set the chimneys in each hole.
3. Place the lighted candle right under one of the chimneys.
4. Hold a lighted mosquito coil over the other chimney.
5. Observe movement of air by looking at the movement of the smoke.
