Respect is appreciating one another
It is caring and appreciating one another
Remember we are all sisters and brothers.
No matter what happens, we stand together
Respect is showing manners that are good
And loving others in our neighborhood.
It is demonstrating dignity for those
Even for those that might impose
Respect is compassion for all
Whether they are rich or poor, big or small.
So no matter what your status in life
Do not treat others with strife
Respect the role they play
What they do each and every day.
Respect is a thing you can freely give
Respect will make the world a better place to live.
