1. Despite being colorful, it's a bit stressful to the eye especially since my mind has negative and sad thoughts about it

4. Well, if I were an adult, I should have looked for a better area not just by the "quality" of homes like mansions, but more on the safe and convenient areas. The size of a house should not matter, but the location is more important. For instance the market, hospital, police station should be somehow nearby (or at least reachable), the place should be scientifically/economically proves to have a lower chance of being affected by floods/landslides/tsunamis (if you're lucky the community is in a high place), more guarded (low crime rate) as well as an adequate population since too many people can be a problem (also can be a risk of infection rate like a new virus)

In short, to avoid, plan everything thoroughly before moving in a home.
