Factor the polynomial: p^2 – 11px – 80x^2

We use the quadratic formula on a quadratic equation on p,
p = 11x ± √(11²x²+320x²) = 11x ± √(121x²+320x²) = 11x ± √441x² = 11x ± 21x

= 16x or -5x

So we have:
p²-11px-80x²=(p-16x)(p+5x)
