I started making drawings when I needed to hold a crayon in my fist because I didn’t know how to hold it! Then my 4th grade teacher who was also an artist introduced me to oil paints. I truly enjoyed them but my body hated the mediums and I began to break out in hives when I used turpentine. I loved drawing from life and did that for many years until I decided that I wanted to sculpt in clay from life.
