The two major divisions of plants are flowering and non-flowering plants. Flowering plants belong to Angiosperm while non-flowering plants belong to Gymnosperm. Plants are another group of organisms abundant in the ecosystem. They serve as the producer of all living consumers by performing photosynthesis. Plants are also important components in the exchange of the carbon-oxygen cycle necessary for breathing.
