Do you think the health services are enough in case injury emergency? what are their roles/responsibilities?

Sagot :

Answer:

Health services in the Philippines include the following: Mental health care , Dental care , Laboratory and diagnostic care , Substance abuse treatment , Preventative care , Physical and occupational therapy , Nutritional support , Pharmaceutical care , Prenatal care service and a lot more. It consist of medical professionals, organizations, and ancillary health care workers who provide medical care to those in need. They serve patients, families, communities, and populations. They also cover emergency, preventative, rehabilitative, long-term, hospital, diagnostic, primary, palliative, and home care. These services are centered around making health care accessible, high quality, and patient-centered.

In my opinion, health services in our schools are not yet enough to cater the needs of every students specially in case of injury or emergency. There are some contributory factors that affect the provision of health services. To name a few are the lack of awareness and knowledge to response during emergencies, lack of medical officers , nurses, dentist and dental aids,  medical and dental equipment, non-availability of medicines, not enough transportation services like ambulance (sometimes delayed due to traffic congestion).
