Africa has long been perceived as a poor continent. However, in the eighth grade, you learned in your Afro-Asian Literature class that Africa is actually a haven not only of vast resources but of intriguing culture, customs, and literature as well. Since you are on indefinite leave from your work, you have decided to visit this continent. During your stay there, you develop a profound appreciation for the place. Consequently, you are determined to awaken awareness about Africa and to use your connections to do something for Africa by showcasing its tourist attractions, culture, and resources, emphasizing the good things, proposing projects, and the like by delivering an informative speech. To make your informative speech compelling, you have to use parallel structures and cohesive devices in your speech and deliver it with prosodic features: pitch, stress, volume, projection and speed, stance, and behavior​
